Social Support Groups

Shared spaces for people with similar life experiences to connect and support one another.

Who is this for?

For adults seeking solidarity and a safe space with people who share a similar life experience.

How does the process work?

The theme, participation conditions, duration and professional frame of each group are explained in its event announcement.

What happens first?

A brief preliminary meeting may be used to discuss the group's purpose, boundaries and suitability.

Social support groups bring together people with similar life experiences or difficulties within a clear and respectful frame. Participants may share their stories within safe boundaries and draw support from hearing the experiences of others. These groups are supportive and do not replace individual psychotherapy or medical care.
